Chapter 33

Nothing Less Than Everything

Ms. Seon’s eyes fluster and she groans. She looks at her presence and lets out a shaky sigh. 

“How are you feeling now?” Mr. Kang asks while checking her reports. 

“I am better,” she replies with a faint voice. He looks at her and sighs. 

“You are not,” he states. 

“What do you mean?” she questioned. 

“You can’t lie,” he replies, making Ms. Seon chuckle lightly. 

“Yeah, I am unlike you,” Ms. Seon retorts. 

“Let’s not talk about the past. Just let me do some tests for you,” he says as he takes another test result.

Ms. Seon watches as he writes some stuff and takes a blood sample. Once he has done it she notices his hand is trembling and beads of sweat forming on his forehead. 

“Are you feeling okay?” she asks worriedly.
