Chapter 64. Cheer Sky Up

“Everything is fine, Sky,” Edmund said. “I’m okay. Now, why don’t you go to the waiting room? I need to get the medicine and complete the paperwork.”

Before he could leave, Alice took the papers from his hand.

“Let me handle it. You and Sky can wait in the waiting room.”

Alice walked out of the office, and Edmund turned to Sky with a quiet, sad expression.

“Want to go to the park?”

Sky frowned.

“Is that okay? Mama told us to stay in the waiting room. What if she can’t find us?”

Edmund shook his head slightly.

“She can see us from there. The park is nearby.”

He held out his hand.

“Want to come with me?”

Sky nodde
