Chapter 33. Stepsister

Evelyn held Tom's hand as they walked around the things meant for sale inside the big supermarket. He kept on bickering with her about some specific cartoon characters. She wasn't in the mood to fight back, instead, she pats his back and nodded whenever he asked 'Am I right, mum?'. That was his characteristic.
