I parked in front of The Special and locked the car before joining Karim upstairs.

“Long time no see, my dear friend.”

“Okay-okay! I’m here, be quiet.”

We hugged each other and took our seats.

“What will you have?”

“Nothing, just a little water. I’m saving my appetite for the meal that awaits me.”

“Ah, I see.”

He called a waitress over, and she brought us a bottle of water.

“So, tell me everything,” I said to him.

“I have a favor to ask you, man.”

“You have a favor to ask me, and you call me to a restaurant?”
