For the fourth time that morning, I rushed to the bathroom to vomit, feeling dizzy each time. I couldn’t figure out what was causing this intense nausea. After washing up, I hoped I would feel better. With everything else going on, this was the last thing I needed. I had never felt this way before.

At first, I tried to tough it out, but now I was at my breaking point. Ousmane… Tears started flowing again. I never thought he would do this to me. He could have scolded me, insulted me, even hit me, and it would have been easier to handle than this silent treatment.
