Unknown POV
“Did you find them? Any news? Updates?” I asked, turning around in my seat to face the guy who’d just walked in, puffing out smoke and lighting another cigarette. He lowered his head for a second before squaring his shoulders and meeting my eyes.
I raised a brow.
“We couldn’t find them. And no, they haven’t been sighted. They haven’t used any of their phones either,” he said.
I blew smoke from between my lips and turned back to the window. The compound stretched out in front of me. I could see men and maids moving around, but none of it mattered right now.
Somehow, they got a whiff of what was coming. Either one of my men snitched, or someone was working with them. It’s not a fucking coincidence that they both vanished at the same time.
