Chapter 67. Pool Party

Elona's POV

We were on our way home in Tristan's car. The bus dropped us off at school earlier. I slept the entire journey back. In fact, I had to ask Cris to get some painkillers for me last night and I slept through most of the night, not interacting with anyone on the camp. Tristan was too occupied with helping everyone else to check up on me. But at least, I could sleep. I sent him a text as soon as we had signal this morning to wish him a happy birthday. Cris was most of the time on her phone as she received tons of texts, so I left her to it in the bus and I slept.

We pulled up in the driveway to my house. There were a few cars and I knew what this was. Tristan's surprise party is held at my house. We all got out of the car. I had a dull ache, but the painkillers managed most of the pain. I swung the strap of my backpack over my shoulder.
