Chapter 142. A Dinner to Remember
Teyana’s POV
After what seemed like a forty-minute drive that included Jeremy’s restless hand caressing my thigh the entire way—we finally arrived at the grand dinner venue. He was now dressed in a beige-colored shirt I made him pick and black pants. The top few buttons were undone as usual, sleeves rolled to arm level. He looked absolutely snatched.
But this is Jeremy. Everything fits.
He was going to go for black, but trust me, I would’ve rolled my eyes if I had to see him in all-black again tonight. He’s already got enough black clothes.
Jeremy’s hand rested on the bare curve of my lower back as the elevator ascended, his palm warm against the open part of the gold dress he had picked for me. The soft hum of the moving lift filled the silence, but his thumb kept brushing small circles into my skin, making my body feel too aware of every breath I took.
Before I could even tease him about it, he angled my chin toward him and kissed me again—slow
