Chapter 64. A New Car
Teyana’s POV
I stared at him like he wasn’t real. “How—how do you even know it’s my birthday? Or that I wanted this car?”
Instead of answering, he shrugged, his gaze cutting. “At least now you won’t need to climb on the back of Zayne’s bike again.”
My breath hitched. I flinched as his words sank in. “Have you been stalking me?”
He tilted his head, eyes narrowing. “Watching over is different from stalking.”
The salesman returned, beaming at me. “Your brother must love you very much.” His gaze flicked between us.
My mouth opened, but no words came. Brother. Jeremy must have referred to himself as my brother while purchasing the car. I stood frozen, not knowing what to say, until Jeremy steered me out of the shop, his hand warm but suffocating on my back.
Outside, he waved the silent man in his car forward. “Drive my car,” Jeremy ordered, and the guy slid behind the wheel without a word. Then my car was brought outside by the salesman. J
