Chapter 43. Nelson’s Family
"So... what can Uncle do to help, dear?"
We lock eyes. Two days since our return to New York City, devising a plan is the foremost task at hand. And this isn't a conversation taking place in the main room of our house. For this instance, I feel that there's no business talk involved here. Doubts have crept in so strongly that they've led me to make this decision.
Prior to this, I had indeed personally contacted the middle-aged man seated calmly at the end of the sofa. There wasn't much small talk; my purpose was clear - to inform him of what he needed to know. The surprise in his eyes was palpable when he read the documents I sent directly via email. I have a hunch that Uncle Peter will be more than willing to pave the way for my current objective.
Solidifying Andrew as the rightful owner and swiftly removing Phillip. If only I could act immediately with the evidence at hand, I would have done it after explaining everything about Nelson to my husband.
