"Travis," I say breathily.

I have so many questions to ask him.

"Why didn't you just come home?" I ask after pulling away from the hug.

"I didn't know the address to this house, but I knew your phone number and that's why I wanted to call you," he replies.

"When did you even get here?"

"This afternoon, I guess, but I hadn't been here long before Denise found me."

This means the invention still works on reverse, just that it takes a whole lot of time. I'd have to fix that.

"And where have you been all this while?"

"Yesterday when we were testing your invention, I found myself at the park where I picked up the marble the last time I was teleported, and nothing happened after that, I had a feeling something was wrong so I waited."

"You waited there this whole time?"

"Yeah, I knew you would do all you could to bring me back. I went home when it got dark though, but I returned in the morning."
