Chapter 56

If Mr. Daniels says he has big news then the news must be pretty big. After getting off the phone with him, I stand up with urgency and everyone looks at me.

"Where are you going?" Austin asks, eyeing me.

"I need to rush to the IAI HQ. Apparently, Mr. Daniels wants to see me."

"Can't it wait? We're in the middle of something," Austin says.

"It's from Mr. Daniels so it certainly can't." I am already heading towards the door.

"Do you need me to come with you?" Travis offers, getting to his feet.

"I got this. You guys have fun, alright."

I leave the restaurant and am about to stop a cab when a man approaches me and tells me he's from the IAI. He was sent by Mr. Daniels to make sure I arrive at HQ speedily. I follow him to the car and get in the passenger seat.

I look around and admire the elegance of the car while inhaling its welcoming scent. The car must be an official vehicle of the IAI or probably belongs to Mr. Daniels.
