Chapter 110. Not Abandoned
I sat down on Maureen's other side on the bed holding her hand as she explained everything she saw in the dream. The room was silent as everyone patiently listened.
I had almost gone mad when she didn't wake up after I started shaking her to wake up. I knew she was dreaming because she kept calling Katrina's name over and over again.
My thought was that she was dreaming about her because that was the last thing she must have thought about before going to sleep. I had thought that I only had to shake her awake.
I shook her several times but she didn't wake up. She just kept mumbling and squeezing her hands so hard that they became red from the effort.
I had wanted to raise alarm about it but she beat me to it and started screaming so loud that the entire neighborhood could hear.
Everybody ran into our room and tried waking her to no avail. When she finally opened her eyes, I felt as if a heavy load was lifted off
