Chapter 129. Cybil's Aim

Maureen's POV

'Give me one good reason why you should be snooping around my house, Cybil,' the Alpha thundered.

Cybil didn't say anything. She folded her arms on her chest and continued staring at everybody in the eyes, one person at a time as if she was challenging us to do something to her.

I personally wanted to get close to her and give her a brain resetting slap. She made me wake up in the most frightening way. What did she think she could get from snooping around the Alpha house?

For Cybil's sake, I hope she will have a reasonable reason for rubbing me of my beauty sleep. I had not even slept for thirty minutes and I was going to be grumpy because of that.

'As of this moment, you are a criminal not the Gamma's daughter. So it will be of immense benefit to you if you speak right now,' dad growled at Cybil and that seemed to get her attention.

'I was looking for something,' Cybil grumbled.

'You were looking for what, in my house?' The Alpha ask
