Maureen's POV

I could see that the golden wolf soldiers were restless as the fake golden wolf and I faced each other with eyes blazing.

'I usually do not like killing females, but you are giving me no other option,' the fake golden wolf said, making me roll my eyes. His continuous talking was making me feel as if he was stalling. 

'And why don't you like killing females, weakling?' I asked frowning deeply.

'Females are nothing but weak, feeble things,' he said chuckling alone.

'Now I know why they decided to pick you and experiment on you. Your arrogance must have triggered their conclusion. Nitwit,' I hissed loudly.

'How dare you call me a nitwit?' He screamed in anger and before I could decipher what he wanted to do, he sent a ball of fire out of his hands straight at me. The fire got to me and engulfed me.
