Chapter 107. One Step Ahead

Atticus’s POV

After holing up in a rundown motel for a week, we finally have a plan. Everyone is on my damn nerves. Especially Alpha Triston. He is too fucking eager. He wants to kill everyone in our path. I have tried to explain that it isn’t necessary, but he wants to kill every member of the Elder Council. Finally, he relented last night, agreeing that we would only kill when it is necessary.

The rental car is silent as we make our way to Alpha Bernard’s house. Lucky for us, he lives on the outskirts of the Stardust Pack, and that edge of the territory is rarely watched. Elder Bernard has guards of his own. Once we take them out, it should be easy to make it into his house undetected.
