Damien struggled hard to free himself as Lucy was hot on his heels.

He did not want her getting close to Daren at all! He shoved Daren, but he did not budge an inch.

“Are you a damn rock?! Move out of my way! Can’t you see someone is after me?”

Daren chuckled and thought to himself. ‘He finally replied to me, huh?’

“Who exactly is chasing after you?”

“Lucy, and the interrogation that will follow when she sees you, is no joke! Now let me move.”

“And I assume that is Lucy?”

Lucy was really close to where Damien and Daren were. She slowed down a bit when she saw that he was in someone’s arms.
