Chapter 34. My Sunshine

Kimberly ate her dinner in silence. Her mind wandered. She had too many things on her mind. That was the second day Nicholas had left her overseas. But the man never once took the initiative to contact her. Was Nicholas mad at her? It wouldn't be funny if she had to contact him first. 

Am I not the victim here? 

I was the one who let you down, Nick. Now I'm the one who was silenced? 

FUCK! Damn it.

Kimberly rolled her eyes, looking at herself, trying to find flaws in her. "Am I not pretty enough that Nicholas thinks I'm not his type?"

Kimberly took a deep breath. Keep holding her cheeks. 

"Gosh, what else had to be perfect for Nicholas to accept me?" 

Kimberly grimaced, not yet finished thinking about Nicholas. Another matter crossed her mind. And now, he thought about the diagnosis of the disease that the doctor had given her yesterday. To recover, she needed a lot of money to perform surgery. And right now, there a
