Chapter 364. Strong Girl

Apphia’s POV

“Wake up, sleepyhead. We should go to the gym,” Drake’s voice comes from the other side of the door. I frown, not ready to leave my comfy bed. However, his excessive knocking makes me sit up, half asleep. Stretching my limbs, I finally get out of bed. Shai opens her eyes, glaring at me for the disturbance.

“Good morning, Shai,” I caress her fur, but she hisses. I named her Shai, like my middle name. It means Gift. Mom gave it to me because I was a precious Gift from the goddess.

“Extra laps for delaying us,” Drake hollers.

“Coming!”

I rush to the closet and change into shorts and a sports bra. I look into the mirror to inspect my outfit. I nod to myself, gather my hair in a high ponytail, put on my sneakers, and go to the door.

We walk to the gym in comfortable silence. Once there, I’m surprised to see Lily, Knox, and Emiliana. It looks like they were training in the ring. I haven’t seen them in days.
