Apphia’s POV

For the first time, my eyes roam around the gym. There is a small crowd of people watching. Lily and Emily have their mouths slightly ajar, while Knox looks smug.

“Don’t worry, I’ll live,” grunts Drake.

“Get up, don’t be dramatic,” Knox barks, kicking the gamma slightly with his foot. Everyone chuckles, and I exhale, breathing a little better now.

“Drake, “I start, but he cuts me.

“Relax, Apphia, I’m alright,” he assures me with a smile, wiping the blood with a white towel given by a warrior. I can’t help but hug him again, and a low growl erupts from Nicholas’ chest, making Drake tense. He pushes me away gently and raises his hand in surrender.

“These hugs are making my Alpha mad. If they continue, he might finish what you started,” he chuckles, glancing at Nicholas. I also turn my head toward the Alpha Prince and take a step back from Drake. Is he jealous that I hugged Drake? I feel excitement bubble in my stomach.
