Chapter 386. Voices of People
Apphia’s POV
“The weather is lovely, so we should retract the roof,” he says, pressing a button on the steering wheel. The roof goes down as he starts the ignition. The engine roars to life, startling me a little.
We exit the quiet castle and drive into the bustling city.
A few minutes later, we arrive at a cute, serene restuarant cafe, Nicholas told me it belongs to Victoria’s mother.
“I have booked the rooftop for us,” he informs me, leading me through a secluded area and into an elevator to the rooftop.
I’m mesmerized by the rooftop view.
“It’s lovely here,” I murmur, looking at the breathtaking view of the Lycan city.
“Yes,”
Nicholas pulls out a chair for me, and I sit. He sits opposite me.
A young waitress in black pants and shirt walks over to us with a smile. She seems momentarily incapacitated for some reason.
