Chapter 451. End Things With Her First

Apphia’s POV

Lily, Daisy, and I are having breakfast in the courtyard the following day. I like this little tradition of gathering once or twice a month to catch up. Lily is telling me about her date with Blade after I convinced her to; she’s pretty secretive about their relationship,

“Fine, I like him and might go out with him again,” she smiles.

“You’re making him run for his money, eh,” I say.

“Just because I’m finally giving him a chance doesn’t mean I don’t want to make him sweat a little,” she giggles.

I notice Daisy is quiet; it’s unlike her. Lily notices to and asks,

“Daisy, what are you thinking about?” she asks. Daisy snaps from her thoughts and looks at us, smiling.

“Nothing, really, just work,” she sighs, sipping her tea.

“Just work, hm,” Lily murmurs.

Daisy’s phone beeps, and she quickly grabs it from her bag. She reads and rolls her eyes, putting it back,
