“I... I’m fine,” I force a smile that I don’t think he believes. I walk away before my tears can stream down my cheeks. I hurriedly leave the castle grounds, not wanting to be stopped by anyone. I need some fresh air. Maximus told me once that I should visit his isle if I needed to be away. I’m going there.
