Chapter 498. Passions

Jamila’s POV

Ten minutes later, we are in the gym, training together. I was supposed to shift the last full moon, but I couldn’t. I was disappointed, and so was Nicholas, but he said we should train harder to make me stronger.

“You’re distracted,” he says, kicking me. I dodge it too late and get hit in my side. I fall to the ground and lie there, facing the ceiling. Nicholas crouches beside me.

“What is it?” he asks.

“I feel strange, like I should remember something, but I don’t know what,”

“Did you dream about it?”

“I think so. Not too sure,” I shrug.

“It will come to you,” He helps me up abruptly, and without any more words, we continue to train.

We leave the gym three hours later and go upstairs to take a shower. I’m sitting on the couch in his study after breakfast, Shai in my lap, and I’m running a hand in her fur.
