Chapter 492. New Energy

Nicholas’s POV

“Emily!” Mom scolds. Lily hugs Emily, looking at me with a sorry expression. Shit, she must think the only reason I comforted her was because of Emily. I need to find her.

“Nick, try to call her cellphone,” Knox suggests.

“I don’t have her phone number,” I say, a little embarrassed about that.

“Wow, that’s just not right,” Blade says, gulping his juice. My family all look at me shocked. I turn on my heel and leave the dining room, searching for Jamila, but to no avail. The servants, too, hadn’t seen her, so we checked the security cameras around the castle. I spot her immediately leaving the castle, talking to a guard, and getting in the cab minutes later. I rush to the gate to ask the guard where she went, but he doesn’t know exactly. We disperse, searching through the city while I go to the cab company that picked her up.

‘Have you tried mind-linking her?’ Nico asks at last. I stop in my tracks. I forgot to do that. I mind-link h
