The next morning Love and I went down for breakfast, the Alpha wasn’t there and I let out a sigh. We silently ate breakfast and I took the little princess to school. After that, I went to the border but I was surprised to see Jamal there, he was deep in thought.

“Beta,” I called when I got out of the car, he immediately put on a gentle smile on his lips and kissed my cheek.

“What are you doing here?” He asked,

“I was going to see the strays but I thought against it,”

“I wanted them to get ready to be moved into the pack but I thought it best if I talked to Alpha Edward first,”
