Chapter 72. Trap

Cheryl smiled happily when she heard Jonathan had persuaded Gery to pick her up at the bar. She was intentionally drunk but still fully conscious, and everything she did was a plan to destroy Gery and Eve's relationship.

"Gotcha!" murmured Cheryl with a sly smile.

Jonathan knew nothing about Cheryl's plan but could only carry her to a sofa in the VIP room. Then he waited for Gery to come pick up the beautiful woman.

Sure enough, not long after. Gery came in his car to the bar; he immediately approached Jonathan and asked what had happened.

"Hey Jo, where's Cheryl?" asked Gery with a flushed face.

"She's in the VIP room. I deliberately moved her so she wouldn't mess up here," Jonathan replied.

"What the hell is going on? Why is she like that?" asked Gery.

"I don't know either, but she was in a bad mood when she came in here. She kept calling your name," Jonathan replied. He recounted everything that happened at the bar.
