Chapter 79. Vacation

Already in his office, Gery repeatedly glanced at the hands on his wristwatch. He also repeatedly glanced at the entrance, waiting for Eve to come. However, after an hour, Eve did not come.

"What's wrong?" asked Gery.

"I've been asked by Eve to handle her work while she's on vacation," said Arnold.

"Leave?" Gery frowned. "You mean, Eve went on vacation?" He asked again to make sure his hearing wasn't impaired.
