Chapter 87. The Accident
Just one call from Clark was enough to subvert all the plans Cheryl had laid out. She entered the room with tears streaming down her face. She closed the door with a thud and felt her heart being slashed and then sprinkled with salt. Stinging disturbed her soul.

All her plans had been ruined! There was nothing else she could do but scream at the top of her lungs in her room. Her tears were still hanging from the corner of her eyes, and no matter how loud her voice was, she kept trying to let out all the pain she felt.
"Why, Gery?! Why?! Why did you choose that woman over me? Look at me, Gery! I'm the woman you adore. She's just a new person in our romance!" She scattered all the makeup in front of the mirror onto the floor.
