Mrs. Andrews was still crying on her husband's shoulder. In her heart, she regretted leaving her only child alone in New York City. Although, with full facilities and a maid to care for all her needs, the guilt quickly ate away at her heart.
"Cheryl will be fine, dear." Mr. Andrews tried to stroke his wife's shoulder. In this case, his heart was equally broken. The sky seemed to fall on his head, but he tried to keep his wife strong.
"We shouldn't have left Cheryl here, Baby! She should have stayed with us." Mrs. Andrews wiped away her tears with the tissue she had kept in her bag.
Lucas and their bodyguard were still standing, not knowing what to do. Lucas was still at a loss as to how to make his field of money flourish again, while the burly man in the suit beside him just stared in confusion. This was the first time he had seen his employer cry so much.
