Chapter 30. Taste You

Devon’s eyes squinted in the dark. “You…” he paused, taking a few steps back, before brushing his fingers over his messy blonde hair. “You’re a girl…?”

My mind was blank. I couldn’t fathom the thought that Devon had found out about my gender—I had every intention of keeping this information a secret up until the time that I left this place.

“I…” I started to say as a sense of being overwhelmed started to rise up in my chest. I covered my body with the sheets, and slowly sat up. “I’m sorry, Devon. I didn’t mean to—”

I was interrupted by his hands suddenly snatching the sheets out of my hands, and pushing me on the bed which caused me to let out a muffled squeal.

“Devon!” I tried to stop him by pressing my hands over his chest, and pushing him away from me, when he towered over me, but he grabbed my wrists and pinned them above my head, his eyes dancing with amusement as he stared on my face. “D-Devon, please…”

“Now I know that I’m not real
