Chapter 43

Camilla’s POV

Martha had arrived the day before and we were all excited. We didn’t talk much about what had happened while she was gone. 

It was a Monday and she got Rory ready for school and then I dropped her off and returned to the house.

I didn’t have to go to work until 10am so I had a lot of time to get ready. I finished getting ready and I had a lot of time left so I decided to chat with Martha.

“So he wants to be a part of her life?” She asked.

“Yes.” I answered.

“How would that work? You live in different cities.”

“I really don’t know but we’ll figure that out.”

We chatted for a while then I looked at the time and realized it was time for me to leave for work.
