Camilla’s POV

“Can one of you explain to me what this means?” My grandfather asked.

“It’s not what you think. It's a moment taken out of context.” I replied.

“How can a kiss be taken out of context, Camilla? It either happened or didn't. I expected better from both of you. The last thing we need right now is a scandal about Camilla's name.”

“I'm so very sorry, sir. We didn’t mean for it to happen.” Jeremy responded.

“Even if you wanted to be in a relationship right now, Camilla, not with Jeremy. What will the board think?”

“We can explain that it was nothing.”

“You're really making me annoyed with that talk, Camilla. The relationship between the two of you shouldn’t be anything more than cordial.” My grandfather said.
