Finally, the day of their departure, looking at the luggage Viren chuckled, “My sweet red apple don’t you think you are carrying too many clothes. I don’t think you would be needing any of it.”

Heat ran through Priya’s nerves, her cheek turned red imagining Viren’s antics. He fulfilled all her needs and took her to another world. She bowed her head hiding her flushed face. Coming near her, he lifts her face keeping the tip of his finger on her chin.

“You have become a Kashmiri Apple.” He was enjoying her plight.

“Leave me, dad is waiting for us, moreover we have to catch a flight.”

They bid adieu to their dad and went to the airport. They had a layover in Delhi. It was evening by the time they reached. Their flight for Srinagar was due in the morning. The weather was beautiful.

“Wifey, get ready I want to take you shopping and then we will have a dinner date.”

“Hubby dear I’m too tired to move and I have bought so many clothes.”
