Chapter 70. One Condition
Johnston’s POV
Today, I planned to reach out to my mate, not just for my sake but primarily to preserve the relationships of those I held dear. I got into my car and drove to Human Town once more.
I purchased a vibrant bouquet from the florist. I selected yellow roses, adding a lonely daisy in between. On the card, I jotted down my phone number along with "an admirer." Upon arriving at Marelva's upscale apartment complex, I stepped out of the car and made my way to the receptionist.
"Hello, I would like to leave this for Miss Marelva in apartment 68," I mentioned.
The woman gave a sour smile, but I acted as if I hadn't seen it. It seemed my mate's reputation had become quite familiar to everyone by now.
