Chapter 76. On the Road

Becca's POV

The first vehicles carrying security personnel from the Moon Shine pack rolled into the packhouse parking lot. 

From my bedroom window, I peered out from behind the curtain, my heart pounding with anticipation. My eyes scrutinized each car in the convoy for that one specific vehicle promising my liberation. Suddenly, I spotted it, a sleek SUV parked at the end of the line. I caught my breath in excitement.

Perfect!

I carefully observed as the SUV was parked in such a way that it could leave discreetly at any moment. Its placement didn't create an open space among the rest, making its absence noticeable only to someone counting them meticulously. That friend of mine was definitely a genius. I didn't know if he got help with this plan, and I wasn't going to find out. Everything was unfolding perfectly according to plan.

I observed two men exiting, retrieving their bags and heading toward a specially designated security bu
