Xavier’s POV

Hours after Julian locked me in the dungeon, I was writhing in pain. But the physical pain was not more than that of the heart. My friend and king time brother, went against me and betrayed me. I never thought that I would live to see the day Julian and I were at odds. He, of all people, decided to go against me and do all this.

I thought I would stay confined in the dungeon through it all but someone came to my aid. Someone unexpected. I never thought that she would let me go, since she was very fond of Julian. She came to me and untied me, freeing me from the dungeon. I was weak from all the wolfsbane and silver. Sandra helped me and tended to my wounds.
