Brielle’s POV

Things were proceeding as planned. It’s been four days since we visited Kyra. Tonight was the night we performed the summoning ceremony. As for Xavier and Julian, Blake has already dealt with them, and they understand everything about the ceremony. We informed everyone as well, and they were worried but supportive as well.

I blame myself for everything that is going on. If I had just put that spell on them, they might not have been in our lives right now. If only I could turn back time. I would be able to set a lot of things right. But enough about that. I can’t do anything about that, but I can do something right now. I should get ready. It’s going to be a difficult night.

I was in the room when I heard someone knock on the door.

“Come in,” I said.

Morgan went inside the room. She looked worried. She’s been trying to stop me from going. I understand that age is concerned, but I can’t stop now.
