Brielle’s POV

I got to school ready to see Blake. I was really hoping he would come, but to my disappointment, he was nowhere to be found. Strangely, the atmosphere in school had a shift. People were whispering in corners about something I couldn’t hear. Now was the time friends would come in handy. I would be getting all the gossip. I was so curious about what was going on, but I didn’t want to ask. I would have to talk to someone to do that and I don’t like it.

Soon, people started gossiping but this time I seemed to be the subject. They were not really subtle about it. They would stare at me or point at me and that’s when I knew I was being talked about. It was starting to make me nervous. I even thought that maybe I had something on my face. Wouldn’t they be laughing if that was the case? Still, I had to check, so I ran to the bathroom to check myself in the mirror just to be safe.

I was totally fine. Nothing on my face or out of place.
