Cara's POV

"They are vampires," I said to Lucian. 

Laurent sat beside Beta Lucian; they both looked lost. They still didn't believe me. 

I had called the both of them for a meeting in Rollins' office; it sure was weird sitting down here, right where Rollins usually sat, but I felt comfortable here, his scent was always a pleasant reminder. 

"How do you know you are right?" Lucian asked 

"Okay, it might come as a surprise to you to know they exist, but I met them when I visited the woods." 

Lucian looked tense; he didn't want me anywhere close to the things that place Rollins in the position he is now. 

"You told me you were alright, but I should have known; you seemed a little worked out when you returned."
