Cara's POV

"Is it not about Lucian?" I lied, but May saw through that.

"You didn't seem so quick to leave a few minutes ago, not till I mentioned his name," she said. I expected her to be annoyed, but she wasn't.

"I'm not like that, you know," she says, opening the door wider. As Teo walked in, I had to follow, even if I didn't want to be anywhere in Lucian's room.

"This is your outfit," she says, tossing a pair of black leggings and a matching black leather crop top at me. I took it in my arms.

"You can change in the bathroom."
