Cara's POV

I couldn't forget his screams. What was happening to him?

That was the question that nobody was willing to answer. I was in May's room with Lucian and Teo; of course they were in charge now that the Alpha was in the woods.

It didn't make sense why they would leave him there and just sit here; I couldn't even sit down. Teo kept on assuring me that everything would be fine. Lucian was here with May, but he didn't look at me with hatred like I expected him to; maybe he was getting accustomed to me, maybe it was because of May, i didn't care to know.

"Please, someone should explain to me what is happening," I say, directing my question at Teo. I had asked this question again and again, but still no one was talking.

"Lucian?, May, please, I need to you  say something. I am the Luna, I need to know" I say to them, feeling helpless and useless. The fact that every other person in the pack knew about this but me was killing me,
