Chapter 40

"Hello Sophia!" Chris opened his hand as we both shook hands. He didn't even act like he knew me.

Mr. Sam asked me to sit on the chair, and while I walked to the chair, I sat down but didn't stop to look at Chris.

"Documents! Mr Esteban has an important meal with his wife," said Mr Sam, as Jeremy walked inside, and he gave him a document.

He leaves afterward.

"Okay, shall we?" Mr Sam signed on the document and passed it over to Chris, who's now known as Esteban. Like who gave him that name, and Is Chris really married to someone else?

Chris signed the document too.

He takes the document and gave it back to Mr Sam, while I stayed at my chair and looked at him.

"Sophia. I'll leave everything with you two so you will be able to finalize with Esteban."

Mr . Sam took the documents and he placed it in front of me.

"I'll see you, Sophia." He grinned and walked away from the conference room.

I was moved to ask Chris questions.
