Chapter 157

Chantelle walked towards the kitchen area of her eatery to check on what they had prepared for today's sale but a short blinding pain at the side of her stomach made her relinquish her balance as she stumbled on some plate causing the whole items to fall to the floor.

The sound of the breaking items only seemed to worsen the pain she was feeling.

Mitch quickly ran down from the stairs toward her aunt. “Auntie, why don't you go see a doctor already? Your pains seem to be getting worse!” Mitch muttered worriedly but her aunt seemed to brush everything as usual.

“I’m okay!” she responded to the little girl while trying to get on her feet again.

“What would happen to me if the pain doesn't stop and something bad happens to you? Grandma Flora already left and you are the only family that I have got.” Mitch said almost in tears.

“Wouldn't that at least make you happy when I’m gone forever? At least everything that I have would automatically become yours finally,” Ch
