Chapter 20

The sun was glittering beneath the sky and the students in high school were seen around because it was break period for them. Rose scurred her eyes around until she finally sighted her friends. 

"Things would be alright, don't you worry Sia!" Rose's friend Fiona muttered while rubbing Sia's back in a calming way. "Fiona, what happened to her and why is she in tears?" Rose worriedly asked. 

"You don't know what happened? Uhm!" Her friend muttered rhetorically before sighing. "No! Can you tell me what happened?" Rose asked curiously. 

"Well, it's because of the rumor and gossip going around school Rose," Fiona muttered, still patting her friend's back softly to calm her down. 

"What's it about?" Rose asked.

"Shockingly, you had no idea. Rose, everyone in school knows including the teachers aren't left out! The rumors and gossip are that Sia's father abandoned them!" Fiona muttered as her pair of slanted eyes glared at her friend.
