Chapter 39

Jessica has been sitting inside the huge mansion for an hour now and she was tired, hungry, and exhausted. She wondered why Rebecca was taking so much time to get back here, she got up from the chair to maybe look around but a voice startled her. 

"Hey, are you new here?" The voice asked. 

"Uhmm__ uhh, my name is Jessica! I was just waiting for my friend Rebecca." Jessica simply responded. 

"You don't know exactly what you have gotten yourself into. Please, escape right now before you start regretting it. You've no idea what happens here, you shouldn't end up like me or any of the workers." The lady said with a serious tone but Jessica still didn't understand what she meant.

"Uhmm__ I honestly don't know what you are talking about!" Jessica told her, gazing at her intensely. "Wait, do you mean that this place is bad luck?" Jessica asked. 

"Stop asking a question and leave this place while you still have the time," the lady warned yet
