Chapter 12. An Antisocial Boy

So I get up and with one last sad look I leave him and go to class. I'm going to go to the vending machine afterwards to bring him an energy drink. I'm sure he'll need it.

I walk down the hall and can see many girls in my class gathered around Charlotte the Auburn Goddess. They all sound sad or something as I hear sobs.

Almost all of them are gathered around her trying to console her and I tell myself that I should also be among them but then I wonder why I would do that. She only spoke to me once and then nothing. We are not close enough for me to do that so I will abstain.

I pass in front of them but I still have time to follow a few snippets of their conversation.

"Come on, calm down, Charly, you know he didn't mean it that way."
