Chapter 184. Clark Family Reunion

We returned to each other and I could see that the men who shared our lives seemed tense. I imagine they were apprehensive about this confidential session but to see how we arrived, they made reassured faces while Michaël ran to grab my hand

 " Hey "

 I smiled at him before asking him to return my cell phone. It was off and when I turned it on, I was inundated with a ton of messages first from people I know like Carla, Aden, and Mr. Burns and then I got messages from people that I didn't even know. How did they get my number I wonder, but when I look closely it was mostly our classmates.

 I frowned before prioritizing those dear to me. I reassured Carla who was having a fit of hysterics when I made the video call asking me if I was okay and everything, then Mr. Burns. He is very nice to me, his daughters were by his side, and his son-in-law who is a lawyer even told me that if I need his help I just have to give him a sign. 

 I smiled
