Max felt really wasted when he saw Maya again. He rushed towards her and the first question that he asked surprised her so much to the point that she started wondering if he was mad or if he was on to something.

"I am sorry," Maya tried to sound polite. "But, I have never heard of any Lycan King. Honestly, I don't know what you are talking about."

As soon as Max realized that the more he was talking about the issue with Maya, the more he was making things more awkward, he decided to stop, and then forced himself to smile.

"I have to go now," Max said. "And, sorry for disturbing you."
