Chapter 18
"Do you believe in werewolves?" Max asked Maya who was surprised that he could even been considering the possibility of werewolves existing.
"No, I don't!" Maya responded immediately. "Werewolves don't exists. They are fictional creatures that people invented so that their children can sleep peacefully at night."
Max chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Well, Maya, you might change your mind after hearing what I've discovered."
Maya arched an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Oh really? And what could you possibly have 'discovered' about werewolves?"
Max leaned in, lowering his voice dramatically. "I stumbled upon an old journal in the attic of my grandparents' house. It belonged to my great-great-grandfather. And guess what? He claims to have encountered a real werewolf!"
Maya's skepticism didn't waver. "Come on, Max. That sounds like a tall tale
